Banyak pengalaman yang mengesankan sewaktu aku bersama almarhum kos di Embong Malang 80, Surabaya pada tahun 1965-1968. Satu pesan yang masih selalu kuinggat dikala senja hari di tahun 1965 : “Sebagai mantan siswa Probolinggo khususnya Mater Dei,berprestasilah setinggi mungkin, bawalah nama baik Probolinggo dan Mater Dei”.
